Now is the time to chose what committees you want to join. There are nine standing committees. Some require less work while other do require some dedicated time during the year. Think about the amount of time you have, your interests, skills, background and time commitments and then pick a committee or two (or more!) that you would like to participate in.
Standing Committees (for more information see http://www.zonta.org/site/DocServer/ClubManualSec3.pdf?docID=5010 for official description of committees)
- Attendance/Fellowship
- Finance
- Membership
- Program
- Service
- Status of Women
- United Nations
- Ways and Means (fundraising)
- Public Relations and Communications
In addition to committees there are other tasks that need a volunteer to manage throughout the year. Most of these are filled for 2007/2008 but let Linda Derebery know if you want to help out.
- Footlighters Usher Scheduler
- Reservations
- Meal Coordinator
- Legislation
- Newsletter
- Historian

If your are unsure about how much consistant time you can give, that is okay. There are plenty of opportunity to volunteer for other activities throughout the year including
- stuffing envelopes for Footlighters
- ushering at Footlighters and/or the Redlands Bowl
- baking cookies for the firefighters and police
- contributing to the opening night party for Footlighters
- providing food during the holidays and delivering baskets of food to the needy
- donating old cell phones
- And much more.
